On behalf of our Board of Directors, staff and seniors we serve, I would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude for the generous 2017 Big Day of Giving gift. Your financial support helps Seniors First provide long-term support and services to help Placer County older adults maintain their independence and thrive. With your support, Placer County older adults and their family members or caregivers gain access to a wide spectrum of programs and services, most of which are donation driven and provided at no cost to seniors and their caregivers. With an increasing senior population in our county, extended average life span and increased financial need for seniors comes the added demand of services needed to help older adults and disabled individuals in our community maintain their independence.

Donations go a long, long way toward providing vital services such as transportation to medical and other appointments, hot nutritious meals, information and assistance, friendly visitors and recreational activities for individuals with physical or cognitive impairments. These programs help to improve mental health, decrease worries of accidents and feelings of isolation and create a sense of community and disconnectedness for older adults at risk. On average, Seniors First provides approximately 80,000 individual services to seniors each year that enhance and improve their overall well-being and quality of life. Your support makes it all possible.
